At Wiseburg United Methodist Church we are, with United Methodists around the world, heirs to the deeply meaningful historic forms of devotion which have been the hallmark of the people called Methodist from the beginning.

Our service is traditional and our prayers, music and message are grounded in the Holy Bible. We gather for worship on Sunday mornings and other special occasions because of the hope, peace, and joy we find in knowing and serving Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that we can share that with you.

We list a typical order of worship here so you can be comfortable and know what to expect when you join us for worship this Sunday. Please come and worship Almighty God together!

Order of Worship For The 4th Sunday Of Advent

9:15 a.m.

Sunday, December 18, 2011

Prayer of Centering: Prayer of Centering: Everlasting God, from sunrise to sunrise, and generation to generation, we are your people. You have been with us wherever we have gone. You will be with us wherever we may go. You planted us in a land flowing with milk and honey, then you planted our salvation in Mary's womb. Jesus, who is the Christ, is planted firmly in each one of us. Our souls magnify the Holy One. Amen.
